ShortTrack is a mobile web app that works on all devices. On your computer or mobile device, open your browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, etc.) and sign in with your email and password at https://secure.myshorttrack.com
Passwords must have a minimum of 8 characters.
We recommend creating a strong password using one or more of the following elements:
- lower-case letter,
- upper-case letter,
- symbol (!@# $%).
Select the Transaction you want to archive by clicking the property address. Change the property status from Active to Archived by clicking the file box icon to the right of the address. Select the new transaction status and click Save when done.

If you know your password and want to update it after you login, follow these instructions to change your current password:
Login to ShortTrack. Click your name in the upper right corner and select Profile from the menu. Click “Change password.” You will be prompted to enter your new password and confirm it. Click here to view the article: Change Password.
There are multiple ways to import a document into ShortTrack.
- Click the orange + in the upper right corner. Then click the Documents icon. (Select Computer or DropBox)
- Open a transaction. Click the Document tab then click the blue +Add Document button. (Select Computer or DropBox)
- Email document(s) to the transaction specific email (in the transaction summary header). Click the airplane icon next to the transaction address.
- Respond to any ShortTrack generated message or notification with an attachment

Yes! Sending a message only requires adding the recipient as a contact. When you send a message to someone using ShortTrack, the recipient simply needs to respond to the message the way they would to any regular email. ShortTrack will log the message and capture any attachments inside the appropriate transaction. For more detail: Email Reply Capture
Yes, your data is yours. We can provide you with a .zip file upon request.
Yes! Click the Tasks icon (left side navigation menu) to view all tasks in your account. The word Complete prints in green beneath the task due date (in the middle column). Likewise, open a transaction and click the Tasks tab to view completed tasks specific to the transaction.

Yes. When you share a document, the contact receives an email notification regarding that document.
Only if you want them to! Permissions are specific to each transaction. You have the flexibility to give a person different degrees of access on different transactions.
In most cases, a document can only be linked to one transaction. But, inside a workflow you can add a document to a task. The document will then be added to every transaction that uses this workflow.
Open a transaction. Click the Details tab. The Transaction Details page has a section for Address, Status, Closing, Contract dates, Property information and more. Click the pencil icon next to the section name to edit it.
The Details page is visible to any contact on a Transaction Team.

Yes, you can log into the same account on two devices or in different internet browsers.
Account Type is part of choosing a contact’s role. Once a contact claims their ShortTrack account, they will set their default Account Type. When you add a contact to a transaction, you can give them a different role or side (buy, sell).
Yes you can! Create multiple teams for each transaction. You can change who is on the Team by adding or removing the people involved in the transaction at any time.
